On November 8, the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province organized a training course to improve professional knowledge and skills in measurement and quality management in the gold jewelry and handicraft business.
Mrs. Trinh Thi Hoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, delivered the opening speech at the training course
The training course aimed to equip businesses and establishments trading in gold jewelry and handicrafts with practical knowledge on technical and measurement requirements for scales according to Circular No. 22/2013/TT-BKHCN and Vietnamese measurement standard DVLN 16:2021; guidelines on implementing the declaration of applicable standards, quality control, and quality record keeping according to current regulations; and guidelines on product labeling in the gold jewelry and handicraft business according to Government Decree No. 43/2017/NĐ-CP, Decree No. 111/2021/NĐ-CP, and Circular No. 18/2022/TT-BKHCN of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Therefore, compliance with legal regulations on measurement, quality, and product labeling is a mandatory requirement, contributing to protecting consumer rights and helping businesses enhance their reputation and competitiveness.
