On the morning of October 17, the Department of Science and Technology organized a training session on the exploitation and use of the paperless meeting software for departments, agencies, and localities. The conference was held in both in-person and online formats, connecting to the People's Committees of 95 wards and communes across the province.

At the conference, representatives from VNPT Dong Nai presented and demoed VNPT eCabinet, a paperless meeting software system. VNPT eCabinet is the paperless meeting software program engineered by VNPT, which digitizes traditional meetings and improves the efficiency of administrative agencies. This software allows users to participate in meetings remotely, send/receive documents, vote, raise opinions, and manage meeting sessions on smart devices such as tablets, computers, and smartphones. The software helps save printing costs, save meeting time, and improve the management, administrative command, and operational efficiency.

According to the Department of Science and Technology, the training and implementation of the paperless meeting software for departments, agencies, and localities aims to serve the operational needs of units and localities in accordance with the requirement of the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of several digital transformation tasks serving the two-tier government model.
