The workshop was attended by Mr.
Huynh Minh Hau, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology;
Mr. Bui Quoc The, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Long Khanh City
and nearly 100 attendees who are leaders of enterprises, cooperatives,
high-yield clubs and farmers in the area.
At the workshop, delegates listened
to research experts from Ho Chi Minh City introduce new technologies such as: the
technology for producing durian powder using the bubble drying method; the vacuum
drying technology; the technology for producing fresh non-animal milk cream and
ice-cream from green beans with shells and aloe vera gel; processing technology
of some products from fruits that Dong Nai province has advantage of, and other
contents.

By means of the workshop,
businesses, manufacturers, and Farmer’s Association members in Long Khanh city
can access advanced technologies in effective production and processing of
agricultural products, technologies with potential to be used in the
preservation of durian, taking advantage of local resources, thereby
contributing to diversifying agricultural products, production processes to
ensure safety for consumers, raising the value of agricultural products, and
increasing people’s income. Thereby, meeting the goal of sustainable
agricultural restructuring, promoting the development of the agricultural industry
of Long Khanh city in particular and Dong Nai province in general.
