According
to the report of the DOST, from 2021 to present, the Department has advised the
Provincial People's Committee to approve 116 provincial-level science and
technology tasks; summarize and handover 20 tasks for application; and granted
50 technology transfer certificates to enterprises.
In
developing the potential of science and technology, the province currently has
28 science and technology organizations, including 9 public science and
technology organizations and 19 non-public science and technology organizations
operating in all fields such as: natural sciences, science and technology,
medical and pharmaceutical sciences, agricultural sciences, social sciences and
humanity.
In
order to strengthen cooperation and linkage, the DOST has signed with 14 units
in research activities, thereby attracting a team of scientists and
technologists with sufficient capacity to research, receive, transfer and
propose solutions for scientific and technological development to participate
in scientific research, place orders and invite to participate in the Science
and Technology Council, participate in training and fostering human resources
in the province.

At
the conference, representatives of universities and colleges in the province
discussed and shared some difficulties and obstacles in implementing topics and
projects; training and organizing innovative start-up activities; developing
high-quality human resources; and at the same time, they recommended and
proposed solutions to improve scientific research activities, technology
transfer and innovation in the coming time.
