​27 Contestants Enter the Final Ranking Round of the Contest "Learning about Intellectual Property Law in 2023" Update: 06-12-2023
The Organizing Committee of the Contest "Learning about Intellectual Property Law in 2023" has just issued a decision to recognize the results of round 1, approving 27 contestants to enter the presentation round and final ranking of the contest.

In particular, there are nine candidates the the group of civil servants and officials, nine student contestants, and nine uncategorized contestants.

The "Learning about Intellectual Property Law in 2023" contest organized by the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai started from June 5, 2023, eligible for all Vietnamese citizens aged 15 and over, who live, study and work across the province.

Round 1 of the contest was held from June 5, 2023 to August 27, 2023 in a weekly online format. Specifically Phase 1 from June 5 to 25, 2023 (3 weeks); Phase 2 from July 3 to 23, 2023 (3 weeks); and Phase 3 from August 7 to 27, 2023 (3 weeks). As the weekly competitions finished, the Organizing Committee selected excellent contestants to participate in the final ranking round.

Contest aspects include Law on Intellectual Property (Intellectual Property Law 2005; Law amending and supplementing some articles of the Intellectual Property Law 2009; Law amending and supplementing some articles of the Insurance Business Law, Intellectual Property Law 2019; Law amending and supplementing some articles of the Intellectual Property Law 2022; documents guiding the implementation of the Intellectual Property Law and regulations and policies of Dong Nai province to support groups and individuals in protecting and developing their intellectual property.

According to the plan, the final ranking round will take place in two days, between November 11 and November 12, 2023 at the Grand Hall of Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology.

In the final round, contestants will draw presentations to answer 1 of 3 questions asked by the Organizing Committee and answer direct questions from the Contest Jury. The Jury will score and evaluate the contestants' exams based on the criteria of answer content and presentation skills.

It is known that, through round 1 of the contest, the Organizing Committee also decided to award six collective prizes including one First prize, two Second prizes and three Third prizes. In particular, the first collective prize belonged to the Division of Education and Training of Tan Phu district.
