Prizes are awarded to the winners at the “Teachers
Good at Applying IT to Teaching Activities in Dong Nai Province in 2020” Contest
The summation report on the “Teachers Good at
Applying IT to Teaching Activities in Dong Nai Province” Contest in the period
of 2010-2020, Mr. Huynh Minh Hau, the acting Director of Dong Nai Department of
Science and Technology and Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the
Contest said, the contest has attracted the participation of more than 7,000
teachers of kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, high schools and
continuing education centers for 11 years.
Particularly, Division of Education and Training of
Bien Hoa city, Division of Education and Training of Long Khanh city, and
Division of Education and Training of Vinh Cuu district are the units with a
large number of participation teachers and winners winning a lot of prizes in
the period of 2010-2020.
In 2020, there were 2,039 teachers participating in
the contest in two groups: group A for teachers from kindergarten to high school
and teachers who won the contest’s consolation prizes and group B for teachers
who won the first, first runner-up and second runner-up prizes from the contests
of the previous years. As a result, the Organizing Committee decided to award 14
first prizes, 38 first runner-up prizes, 57 second runner-up prizes and 80
consolation prizes.

Department of Education and Training and the representatives of the Organizing
Committee of the Contest said, the contest has become a dynamic, rewarding and
familiar playground for the teachers all over the province, thereby making great
contributions to applying IT to teachers’ teaching activities as well as
enabling teachers to seize opportunities to learn and exchange to improve their
informatics knowledge and skills to effectively apply the software in lesson
design and contribute to increasing teaching and learning activities.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded
prizes to 189 winners at the contest in 2020 and 11 collectives and 29
individuals who had excellent achievements in organizing the contest in
2010-2020 period.
