Accordingly, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province proposes nine major problems of the province in the country’s science, technology, innovation and digital transformation for local digital technology businesses to seek solutions, including:
1. Using high-res satellite imagery to manage and monitor land use in the province.
2. Building Loca AI or Narrow AI for the following sectors: Science and technology; agriculture and environment; healthcare; construction and urban management in Dong Nai province.
3. Developing a platform for urban development forecasting and smart logistics connection in Long Thanh and Nhon Trach areas.
4. Building a technology map for five key industries (manufacturing; supporting industry; energy; logistics and industrial support services; and post-harvest processing and preservation of agricultural products and food).
5. Applying science, technology, innovation and digital transformation to convert traditional industrial parks (IPs) into smart IPs, ecological IPs, and IPs integrating technology services, innovation, and green logistics in the province.
6. Applying digital replica technology to some urban areas in the province for administration and development.
7. Applying quantum technology: quantum computers to process information and complex problems at high speed; quantum cryptography to encrypt and communicate securely, and fight against current attack methods; quantum sensors for high-precision measurement; quantum simulation for simulating complex physical phenomena.
8. Applying digital technology in building a safe, convenient and welfare living space for people in the province through three basic areas:Safety management in daily life: Detecting and responding to abnormal situations using ultra-high frequency technology; nurturing and hiring AI nutritionists at school canteens; checking and managing imported food using AI.
Industrial safety ensures a safe workplace: Designating and operating special safety zones in industrial parks; distributing smart safety devices.
Response to common disasters: Deploying an AI-based flood forecasting system on the upper reaches of the Dong Nai River; patrol UAVs and firefighting robots.
9. Building and effectively operating a network of experts and scientists: The driving force for Dong Nai Province's socio-economic development in the new condition.
