Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology participates in the 13th Mekong-Korea Business Forum

On September 15, 2025, at the Lotte Saigon Hotel, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and South Korea jointly organized the opening of the 13th Mekong-RoK Business Forum with the theme “Digital Transformation and Innovation: the Key to Unlock Mekong-Korea Business Cooperation and Development.”

The delegation from the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, led by Deputy Director Vo Hoang Khai, participated in the forum, viewing it as an opportunity to connect with Korean and Mekong partners, contributing to promoting digital transformation and innovation in the province.
The 13th Mekong-RoK Business Forum in Vietnam is of great significance, contributing practically to the implementation of Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on the development of the private economy and Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; while also creating opportunities for Vietnamese businesses and localities to connect with Korean and Mekong partners, thereby engaging more deeply in the supply chain. This is also a practical contribution of Vietnam to Mekong sub-regional cooperation in its role as co-chair of Mekong-RoK cooperation in 2025.
Speakers exchanging views at the forum
The 13th Mekong-RoK Business Forum brought together representatives from corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), startups, innovative businesses, digital technology companies, business associations, and innovation networks from Mekong countries and South Korea; representatives from financial institutions and investment funds from South Korea and Mekong countries; representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant ministries, departments, and localities of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand; the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), etc.
