Dong Nai province take part in the 2025 Energy Innovation Forum

On September 18, Mr. Vo Hoang Khai, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, attended the 2025 Energy Innovation Forum at the Rex Hotel (Ho Chi Minh City). The forum was organized by the Department of Innovation – Ministry of Science and Technology in coordination with relevant units.

The forum lured more than 200 delegates who are leaders of management agencies, research organizations, universities, and technology and energy businesses from Vietnam and abroad. This is an in-depth activity to promote the role of science, technology and innovation in the energy transition journey, contributing to ensuring national energy security and sustainable development. The program appreciates the participation and support of Vietnam Oil Corporation - JSC (PVOIL), Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR), Power Generation Corporation 1 (EVNGENCO1), and Vietnam National Petroleum Group (PETROLIMEX).

The forum focused on two main contents: Innovation - the driving force for sustainable energy transition and a discussion on partnering in innovation and Joining hands in the national energy transition. In the working session on “Innovation - the Driving Force for Sustainable Energy Transition,” delegates representing the Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion, Ministry of Industry and Trade; Ministry of Science and Technology, businesses, etc., focused on discussing issues such as: Vietnam's energy development strategy; the role of innovation in the energy sector; Digital Transformation in Energy: Models, Data, and Sustainable Innovation; Energy Innovation: Green Transformation and Data Analytics Tools for Emissions; Energy Businesses and the Innovation Journey; and Financing Mechanisms for Energy Innovation in Vietnam.
