Progress of a community tourism development project checked

On September 26, the monitoring delegation of the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province inspected and evaluated the grassroots science and technology task, the project “Community Tourism Development in Binh Phuoc Province”. The project was chaired by Binh Duong University, which is led by Prof. Dr. Cao Viet Hieu.

Proposed tasks to promote intellectual property in the province

On the afternoon of August 21, 2025, Mr. Vo Hoang Khai, Deputy Director of Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, chaired a working session with ALIAT Law Company Limited (Ho Chi Minh City) on the implementation of tasks for intellectual property development in the province.

As part a series of events at the Dong Nai Provincial Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Festival 2025 – Techfest Dong Nai 2025, on the afternoon of October 9-10, a workshop entitled "Connecting Technology Supply and Demand, Commercializing Scientific, Technological, and Innovative Products" was held at the Dong Nai Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center (the Provincial Square).

On September 15, 2025, at the Lotte Saigon Hotel, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and South Korea jointly organized the opening of the 13th Mekong-RoK Business Forum with the theme “Digital Transformation and Innovation: the Key to Unlock Mekong-Korea Business Cooperation and Development.”

Dong Nai province take part in the 2025 Energy Innovation Forum

On September 18, Mr. Vo Hoang Khai, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, attended the 2025 Energy Innovation Forum at the Rex Hotel (Ho Chi Minh City). The forum was organized by the Department of Innovation – Ministry of Science and Technology in coordination with relevant units.

Guidelines of innovation operation management in 2025 disseminated 

On October 6, 2025, at the hall of the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province, the Department of Science and Technology continued to organize a conference to implement the management of innovation activities in Dong Nai province in 2025 for officials of People's Committees of communes and wards, and educational and training institutions from across the province.

Advisory Council selects provincial-level science and technology tasks for 2026 in the field of medical sciences

On October 7, 2025, the Department of Science and Technology organized an Advisory Science Council meeting to determine the list of provincial-level science and technology tasks for 2026 (phase I) in the field of medical sciences. Mr. Pham Van Trinh, Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Science and Technology, chaired the meeting.

Quality objectives for 2025 announced

The Department of Science and Technology has issued Decision No. 164/QD-SKHCN on the announcement of quality objectives for 2025, thereby conforming to the requirements of the Quality Management System according to the national standard TCVN ISO 9001:2015.

On October 23, the Department of Science and Technology held a Scientific Council meeting to inspect and evaluate the progress of the provincial-level project “Developing community-based economic development utilizing the internal resources of ethnic minority communities in Binh Phuoc province”. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, chaired the meeting.

Guidelines for establishing and maintaining the operation of Productivity and Quality Clubs 

On November 3, the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province organized a conference on “Guidelines for Establishing and Maintaining the Operation of Productivity and Quality Clubs” for Mien Dong College (Binh Phuoc ward) and Dong Nai High-Tech College (Long Thanh commune).

Raising awareness of measurement and quality management in the gold jewelry and handicraft business

On November 8, the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province organized a training course to improve professional knowledge and skills in measurement and quality management in the gold jewelry and handicraft business.

Traceability of commodities and ESG roadmap for businesses

As part of  a series of events at the Dong Nai Provincial Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Festival 2025 (TechFest Dong Nai 2025), on the morning of October 10 the Dong Nai Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center and the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province jointly organized a workshop entitled “Goods Traceability and ESG Adoption Roadmap for Businesses towards Sustainable Development, Accessing Green Finance – Meeting International Standards.”

Solutions to community trademarks proposed and reviewed

On the morning of October 17, 2025, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, Mr. Vo Hoang Khai, chaired a meeting with relevant departments, agencies, communes, and wards to review and propose solutions to certification marks, collective trademarks, and geographical indications due to the reorganization of administrative units.

Training on utilizing the paperless meeting software for departments, agencies, and localities held

On the morning of October 17, the Department of Science and Technology organized a training session on the exploitation and use of the paperless meeting software for departments, agencies, and localities. The conference was held in both in-person and online formats, connecting to the People's Committees of 95 wards and communes across the province.

Dissemination of legal documents on chemicals in the industry

On November 7, the Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Department of Chemicals (Ministry of Industry and Trade), organized a conference to popularize legal documents on chemicals in the industry to 300 businesses in Dong Nai province.

Dong Nai brings home seven awards at the 31st National Young Informatics Competition 2025

Over three days (August 8-10), in Hue City, the Central Youth Union, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Vietnam Young Informatics Association jointly organized the final round of the 31st National Young Informatics Competition 2025.
